PANTALONES CORTOS
Renowned Costa Rican novel by author Lara Rios, adapted by playwright Denisse Duncan for the Terruño Espressivo Cultural Association. (2019)
Arturo Pol writes a diary, but it is not a common diary: it is a “porme-diario”. His diary is a very unique adventure in which Arturo tells us how he sees his life, his family, school; He tells us about his concerns and his funniest moments. It reminds us of that wonderful time in which the world is summed up in a soccer ball and a tree full of guavas, that time in which our mother smelled of love and “bare just out of the oven”.

CRÓNICA DE UNA PEQUEÑA ALMA
The balance between life and death is a subject that constantly intrigues us all, and precisely for this reason a group of artists, including students and professionals from the University of Costa Rica, took on the task of investigating the subject through the theater in an interdisciplinary project.
Interdisciplinary Project of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Costa Rica, involved the Schools of Plastic Arts, Music, Dramatic Arts and University Dance. (2017)

In the play you will meet Alma, a girl who lives with her family and awaits the arrival of a little brother: Juli. However, lately strange pains afflict the mother of the little ones and it seems that this meeting is about to be frustrated. Suddenly, while the grandfather is saying good night to Alma, a particular character appears and with him a ship that will take them on a magical journey to the underworld to meet Juli.
This project had the support of the Vicerectory for Social Action of the University of Costa Rica within the framework of the Student Life Camps project. With this, he toured Puntarenas, Turrialba and Guácimo, San Ramón. He was also part of the "Fair of the Arts" of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Costa Rica.

Frappé, una historia de perros!
The play tells the story of Frappé, a pet dog that wanders on a city street. One morning, his routine changes when Mocha and Chai (stray dogs) teach him more than one doggy street survival trick and together they discover dreams, desires and lots of fun.
The work exposes a current Costa Rican problem: animal abuse and abandonment. The montage denounces that many animals are abandoned by their owners and experience health problems or are victims of traffic accidents. The staging calls the viewer's conscience to responsibly adopt and denounce all kinds of animal abuse.

ARENA
Two characters traveled the sea mounted on a trunk. They have prepared a story that narrates the adventures of a boy and a cat pretending to tell it when they arrive in a foreign land. But their emotions and memories will be mixed with the story and we will discover that they carry something else among their objects. Only a true collector of memories will be able to figure out how to change the course of this story.
It is a montage that we dedicate to all families, in which through the magic that simple things have, we seek to give a voice to those who cross the sea today to seek a better quality of life in the face of adversity in their country.
